The moon was sat tight
After Dusk’s light...
Gather ye lilies, Spring daffodils
Tie them up all in a spray...
I will wrap it around me so tightly I will not be...
Stars glistening on my skin like pin prick...
Languid lament becomes all that we know,
Or could this be a reason to fight back...
I just gotta stay high
I can't fall down...
Burning fires,
burning lives...
Painting flowers white,
the faerie wish upon this bitter night...
In shadows deep, where secrets coil,
A tale unfolds of ancient soil...
I'll let you take my soul away
If just once you'll give me this...
Fallen to the ground,
I am the angel of sadness...
Plethora of lies estranged from the insipid stare...
taunting my tender sentiments and our porcelain...
If I could be carried upon the air
twirling and flying, and wave at the moon...
