sneaks past my lips...
I shouldn't be left in silence
It gives me too much time to think...
I verbed a noun,
Added commas, here and there...
This is my heart disguised as a poem.
Read it with your mouth pursed...

Across the vast seas...
A silence so deafening
It echos all around...
From wall to wall without space to breathe
we are cramped to fill each page...
This rain falls on more than just my head. It
creeps and trickles...
it is just an empty page calling me
and poetry is born from this mistake...
Your heart is torn
in the beautiful mess...
Down the corner to the left, across the gas...
a dog dogs a dog while another dog tails and dogs...
If you start joking too much,
people start to take you less seriously...
