Whiteness in my heart
I avalanche from winter...
I found your lilies
and your roses...
Lounging upon a bed of moss,
underneath an abandoned tree...
I fear the worse, of what’s to come
where ice no more, reflects the sun...
The clouds sweep over the mountains
like thick cottonwood seeds...
Calm Serengeti waterhole
Returns its zebra and their foals...
Snowflakes hover
under a peek a boo sun...
blue tits strip lichen
above an ice cold stream whilst...
I wanna be a cloud in a desert
so that when I become mad...
for jenny wren flew in the glen
amongst the bush and bramble stems...
in tree tops they perched
like feathered decorations...
the avocets are coming
i feel them on the wind...
