Asking myself why?

Letting go was harder than I thought,
Even though for your love I really fought.
Each day passes by,
I keep asking myself Why?
What was I supposed to do?
If the person that I thought was going to make me happy was you.
I'm trying to pull myself back from all the tears,
because that's my biggest fear.
Knowing that every tear I shed, I had nothing to gain,
and only learn to feel pain.

    Girl I can feel this poes too. I'm still trying to let go and not love him. He told me not to love him, but when he told me that I find myself loving him more. I'm fighting a losing battle for his love. I do cry, but it does me no good, only when I'm finished to feel like a fool. Go ahead and cry, you may feel better. You ar an excellent writer.
