Though her body is sworn
To the ground where she lays,
Her heart still soars
Like the wings of an eagle
Free to watch the paths of life we take.
In body she is gone
But the spirit remains;
We are too naive to see
But she is always there
To protect and guide our struggles of dismay.
The feelings of lonesome
May cripple us some day
But she is within all of us
Not letting us go astray,
For the rest of our days.
