Speak

by Viola   Feb 7, 2008

Hello, I'm your mind
Here to recall a memory
She said as my fingers
Bled against the ruby beads
Firm grip on the intricate designs
Build inside our minds

Hello, she said
Don't cry so hard
And don't fight such a great deal
It's about time you let it win you over

Here we are, my dear
Falling in the abyss
That gradually takes us deeper
Into the silence of our soul
That's screaming to be found
Amongst all the insignificant details

And all I can tell you is-
Let it be heard
Between the lines of the gate
And the never ending snow
It's your voice echoing against
The bare black walls

This isn't nearly as close to the end
As you had wished
Don't let you voice grow fainter now
Becoming merely a shadow on the ground
Somewhere in the distance

Hello, I'm your mind
She said
Here to make you speak
Before everything you've been through
Gets lost in the pattern of life
