The One I Love

At the age of 21
Halfway through college
I am still looking
For the one I love

Today I sit
All by myself
With no one to hold,
Or call my own

Tears running down my face
As I sit and ponder why
While I write
These love poems

Letting my feelings out
Is hard to do
When I have no one
Close and dear
