Love's a labyrinth

by Kia   Feb 8, 2008

Aimlessly flying, soaring up higher.
Blinded by lust, burning passion, and love,
Lost in a sense of endless desire.
Lose in a cold world, engulfed by seas of,
Never-ending love, and lover's quarrels.
Radha and Krishna, one, forever
Lovers in body and soul as equals.
Are we destined to become another

Icarus. Soaring to high, testing fate.
Only to find that our wings have melted.
Does that love of Jacob and ours, equate,
Working toward goals only to be faulted.
Love's a labyrinth, lost deep in its walls,
With heart and head having different calls.

Yes, I agree, it has a very nice flow and a beautiful swing of emotion. Very nice all together.

That was really good. You used really strong words, and they created good imagery. My only problem is it's length. I would have liked it to be a bit longer. But i like what you have. 5/5

Wow... That was just amazing. I loved every line you wrote. I couldn't pick a favorite if I had to! It made me think a little, and I love poems like that. I liked your use of words and also the way you worded it. It was somehow.. different. You have a lot of talent! Great job!

    Keep writing!
