I CAN be the man my special friend wants

by Jason   Feb 8, 2008

I am a man.
I'm not a man who believes in cheating.
I'm not a man who lies or steals.
I'm a man who can offer you a friendship for years if we click.

I want to teach your daughter that she has to work hard in life.
In order to become a successful woman when she's older.
She already sounds like a fine young lady.
I hope I can show herself that I am a man with common sense.

Some ladies hate men who are lazy around the house.
Well, I hope I can show you one day I'm the opposite.
I'm willing to do any work in a house,
As long as it's not work like roof cleaning, where I can fall and jeopardize my life.

I believe in giving you your own space,
Because I know there's more to friendships than love.
When you're feeling bad after a negative day, you need to relax.
The best I can do is give you hugs, kisses, and mental support to help you feel better.

I'm even ready for challenges while we enjoy life together.
Challenges like me getting used to holding onto my lover as she gives me motorcycle rides at night.
I'm not used to riding on those.
It is a dream of mine to get rides from a biker chick.

Staying up all night long is a challenge for me in itself.
Since I'm not used to all-niters.
These challenges might sound minor to you.
When I get used to them, that's when they'll become moot challenges then.

Good communication is important.
I think we've established good communication already.
Getting along with your daughter ,who you love very much, is important for me too.
If I do meet her, I'll just be myself like I was with you when we first met.

You are a real and serious woman.
You are a woman with lots of realistic goals.
You are a mother who wants her daughter to be better than most Black females.
Simply put, you sound like the Miss Right I hope to be friends with for a long time.

You told me yourself once "I want a MAN."
Well, I got qualities that a lot of brothers out here lack.
You would even think I'm joking on brothers older than both of us acting immature.
I think I can be that man you've been looking for a long time.

The ball is in your hands.
Whatever decisions you make in your life,
I hope they are intelligent decisions.
Especially when it comes to making new male friends in your life.

Because believe me,
I'd hate to hear about a special lady like you becoming a victim of another playa in this world.
You DO deserve a man.
You deserve a man that is committed to you eternally and not temporarily.

But AM I that man?
Well, as our lives progress, and as we get to build on our friendship,
I guess there are two words in response to that question.
We'll see.
