I hear our song
And it reminds me of what we used to have

You were my everything
And you still are
But I just can't go back

Dreaming of the day when I'll hear our song
And it won't mean more than just words to me

Could it be any harder to forget you
When our song still plays in my head
Like the soundtrack to my life

Slowly growing quiet
Until I can't think of you anymore

Only to erupt in another chorus of our song
Louder
And louder
still
Until I beg it to stop
To grow quiet

Desperately wanting to forget about you
To forget about us
To forget the lyrics
Forget Our Song
