Fear

by MorbidCupcake   Feb 8, 2008

Walking home in the freezing cold
Ice slapping your face
Hands numbing
Eyes half asleep
As my feet drown in the puddles
Seeping through to my toes

My heart races inside my body
I'm scared to see you already home
My heart is pounding now
I know you're gonna hurt me again
My legs shake, as they start to feel like jello
My palms sweat
My face goes pale, as white as the new snow

I'm tired of running home, just so you don't pound my face into the pavement
I'm tired of being sad, because I know I'll never please you

You're home, I'm trembling
My heart wants to fall out of my chest and onto the ground
The rain pours harder now, chilling me
Dripping in front of my face just like the frozen tears
My life is made of fear
