Methanol

by MorbidCupcake   Feb 8, 2008

Methanol, drips down my throat
Shivers crawl down my spine
She's living for the action
I'm living to hide
Breathing doesn't help
The medicine never stops it
The words won't let me escape
And I don't know how to save me

You're expected to be smart
Follow rules and make money
But if you're not perfect
You get left behind
If you don't follow the rules
You mess up your life
Where's the freedom in this world?
A world all in chains

She never tries at all
But she still succeeds
Unlike me, left behind
On the same train with a different ride
There's never anyone to help you
When you need
We're all just monsters filled with greed
I wish the methanol
Could poison me
