Fitting in

My heart is all a flutter,
don't know where to go,
Don't know who to love,
there's nobody to show,

I don't seem to fit in,
wherever I may be,
People are all around,
still I feel there's only me,

I try to do my best everywhere,
show people what I'm worth,
but I always feel so small,
and the only one on earth,

How can I be so lonely?
even though I'm full of love,
Wishing on the stars,
that lie in the sky above....
