Death's Last Gift

by RobinAnn13   Feb 8, 2008

Her skin smells of lavender,
to match the shade of her eyes.
She hides behind her secrets,
fake smiles, and convincing lies.

Her voice is like soft music,
more beautiful than her harp.
She can use it as a weapon,
still harmonious, but sharp.

Her goal is to hunt you,
to feed upon your life.
To quickly lure you in
and then strike with her knife.

Her deception will say
you did not die in vain.
Her venom is a gift,
so your death knows no pain.
