Listen my scattered people
i weep before the throne
for you choose to go your own way
and your hearts are so alone

Listen my broken people
i came to bring new life
yet you turn your gaze away
cutting me like a knife

Don't you understand
that i am the best of Fathers
my arms are always open
but yet you do not bother

Listen my weary people
i always fight for you
you are never alone
and i know what you're going through

How long before you realize
that this world is passing away
that the things that you chase after
are things that wont remain
