Promiscuous Eyes

by Indian Comma Bean   Feb 10, 2008

Promiscuous eyes
and a dazzling grin,
But behind this disguise
is a woman of sin.

She reels you closer
with her intoxicant kiss,
For she is the love composer
She laughs and grins; A silent hiss.

She whispers in your ear,
Everything you've wanted to hear,
Soothing tone of charm and passion
Torrid words, charred and ashen.

A lick of the lips
and flip of the hair,
Star like eyes now eclipse,
This woman leaves nothing-

But pain and despair...

Very powerful. You did great job with rhymes and created very interesting flow through the whole piece. I like this poem a lot- the topic is good and whole piece is truly creative. Great wording, as always, from the beginning to the end.
