Hockey

by Ryan Giroux   Feb 11, 2008

I'm up at the crack of dawn
and rush right to the rink
i get dressed real quick
and let my cold skates sink
the bus rides let me chill
and think before my game
so when i step on in
i push away my shame
so what if we don't win
i feel it in my heart
nothing can take away this feeling
or commit to tear me apart
the adrenaline gets me going
i slash and check and slide
i love the sport of hockey
there is no funner ride
