Glass

by Danielle   Feb 11, 2008

You broke the glass,
Now how will we ever see?
Nothing but a blurred mass,
Can't go back to the way it used to be.

To fix the tainted glass
Would be a crime to me.
I would throw it in the trash
Like a useless, unfit key.

So I will leave the broken glass,
And let it fall into the sea
And watch the great big splash
That is now my only memory.

Now I can't look through the glass,
That connects that world to me.
I'll just lie in the diing grass,
There is nothing more to see.
