My Beach of Dreams

I cast my dreams upon a distant star.
A star so remote; a touch, but too far.
I will sail into the sky of many seas,
In hopes of that star I will one day seize.
As long as it takes for your light to reach,
I will gladly sail these light-years away
For one day I will sink into the skies,
And port upon my star of dreams.
