A Beautiful Woman

by Ganga Maya Rizal   Feb 12, 2008

Those colored face, cheap smiles and easy men
Those fancy dresses, Cinderella sandals
Dinner lit with candles
Body, with many mingled

Where are those fireflies
Who glittered in the night?
Are their tombs crowned,
Or rusts got them browned?

Smiles of angel, pure and true.
Rugged face, rough hands.
A heart of gold
A courage of sword

And Endeavour for humanity
There she stands alive on the canvass of history
Hallowed by the Heavens
For the lives she enliven.
