The Little Things

Am I the only one,
That looks at the little things,
The beauty of life,
Of what nature brings?

The two worlds of wonder,
One by night and one by day,
The song of the birds,
In the trees as they sway,

The feeling of rain,
As it falls with such grace.
The feeling of the wind,
Against your soft face,

The beauty of lightening,
As it strikes forth the ground,
The cracking of the thunder,
Creating such a sound.

When the sun goes to sleep,
It is a different tale,
The moon lights the night,
With such iridescent detail,

When you look up above,
The stars light the sky,
They are a map of the world,
On which navigators rely,

The music of the night,
Is a magical kind of thing,
The song of the crickets,
Fill the air as they sing.

Am I the only one,
That views these little things,
And all the hidden joys,
In life that they bring?
