Just a girl

by Autumn   Feb 13, 2008

Wake up
Get dressed
Cover up the bruises
Hide the pain with a smile
No one knows
What you go through
Because no one understands
Get to school
Get pushed, get shoved
Bleed and cry
Its happening again
Teachers ask
People wonder
Counselors talk
Make you uncover
What you hide with your life
The hatred of school
Fear of it too
They ask why? How?
Then you cry shedding your tears fast
Saying lies to try to realize what wrong they are doing to you
Counselor let you go but still wonder
You walk out the bullies smile in evilness
One more day one, more chance they think to make her cry
They succeed but with much more damage done
The next day
School calls home
No one picks up
They wonder
Because the girl didnt show
Moms at work
Dads out of town
The girl looks in the garage finds a rope struggles but knows she will get the courage
Hangs it from the ceiling
Its high enough she thinks
She knows
Makes a note
Saying shes sorry
She will miss everyone
Loves everyone
Sand says why she did it
In addition, who did the bullying?
Parents come home
Find her
Cry for days and nights
In agony
Wondering why there baby didnt come to them
Bullies arrested
Prosecuted
Sent to Juvie
People talk knowing that there are three less bullies in the world.

Great poem, lots of emotion, I usually don't read suicide poems because they make me sad but this one was pretty interesting, but their are some areas u might wana concider fixing like the parts with the weird word/number/etc.[]
u should erase that...other than that great poem, n I can't wait to read more...
