Breaking Glass

by Beverlyn   Feb 13, 2008

You made my time machine worked:
I found my self shivering in the Ice Age,
And I couldn't stop asking "Why?"
In the outbreak of World War II

How silent the night was.
Everyone was sleeping, smiling
Visiting the world of dreams
& it seems I was the only one left.

This silence made me deaf
Then I heard a glass breaking
But my eyes were shedding rivers of tears,
No, it's not a glass, it's my heart.

My world stops turning
When you've said to me:
"I need someone else,
I'm sorry..good bye forever"
