Thousands of words

by Kitsuneko   Feb 13, 2008

Hundreds of scars speak thousands of words.
Some speak of deaths that almost occurred
some speak of valentines day, lonely and lost
some speak of clear lines, brazenly crossed
some speak of anger, and many of hate,
some speak of years spent battered by fate
some speak of tears and hours of dread
some speak of others who wish they were dead
some speak of beauty and some speak of pain
some speak of odds and losses and gains
some speak of readings always in flux
some speak of stars and of storms and of luck
some speak of perfection and how it was tried,
some speak of words that were twisted and lied
some speak of restriction and some speak of lust
some speak of dreams that have turned into dust
some speak of autonomy and some of a crutch
some speak of places that should not have been touched
some speak of leadership to a black hole
some speak of followers and of questionable souls
some speak of comments that got left behind
some speak of answers that weren't meant to find.
I've said so many things that you've never heard:
Hundreds of scars speak thousands of words.
