MISTAKEN IDENTITY

Uhm.. I'm still a newcomer here.. so, i don't know if whether this poem is good or not.. but i hope that i satisfied your reading pleasure..^^

One day, I met a man who was something
He treated the world as his own
And though he faced many trials
He still managed alone.

I met a man who had power,
He could turn night into day
But to my greatest dismay,
He couldn't chase my demons away.

I met a man who was unique
He'd laugh at his misery
He'd often cry when in bliss
And sung me a lullaby before I go to sleep

I loved the man who was something
And I hoped he would never change
But when he discovered the world and its contents
He chose the other way

Now, I hate the man who was something
He took my heart away
He's so close to everybody
But to me he's so far away.
