I’m in your nightmares; I am worse than your fears,
You wont even know when I am near.
I will choke your neck and whisper in your ear,
"You are going to die! I know you hear".
No matter where you go, even when you are at home,
You may think that you’re safe, but you’re never alone.
I am one step behind you watching your every move,
waiting to snatch you up; ready to end you soon!
Now you may think "that’s sick!" And you may even think it's twisted,
But I have to take you out , because you never should have existed!
Finally, I have you! Tied up in the basement,
Blindfolded on the floor
I laugh as you struggle to find your way towards the door.
Suddenly you stop,
Your walls are closing in.
Now your heart starts to beat,
Faster and faster.... It begins!
"I wonder if it hurts?" As you feel the tip of my blade,
Then again, No I don't! Knowing your destination I’ve made.
A few minutes later as the pain subsides,
You know your life is now ending so you start to cry.
But soon you are awake with a high-pitched scream,
Repeating to yourself "it was only a dream!"
"who's there?" you yell with such vitality,
Realizing in your mind; your “dreams” have just become reality.
“why is this happening?"
And "what can I do?"
My Response is "Nothing!..
But except the fate you feared soon would come true!"
Once again I’ve got you, walking slowly down the stairs,
You face comes closer to mine as I pull on your hair.
Then I start to lick your salty tears,
"I know you are afraid, I can smell your fear!"
"To hear you scream is what I love,
Because you are just another soul that no one loves!"
