My Love

As I start this poem, I must tell you this,
My girl has my heart, I'm in total happiness.
Each day I wake with a smile, with a grin,
She holds back the flames, that burn deep within.

Giving me hope, for a better tomorrow,
I walk her path, it's her I want to follow.
My life with hers, both just as one,
Longing to be near her, when each working day is done.

Looking into those eyes, for answers I must seek,
Climbing into those dark eyes, just to take a peek.
The questions I have, she has answered completely,
Not a matter of trust, just answers that beseech me.

It's more than plentiful, knowing that she loves me,
It's the desire to know, I'm the one that she needs.
So some days my heart explodes, flowing with emotion,
Some days it's satisfied, with her love her devotion.
