Your Roses

by Gabba Gabba Hey   Feb 14, 2008

The suns bright rays fall upon your roses
cold to the touch, and cold to the troubled eye
that knows what lies 'neath, and the reasons why
the sweet smell that drifts assaults our noses
the feelings in our minds reach psychosis
sometimes the blood red roses speak of you
speaking of the razor cuts that aren't new
and the perpetual way life loses
