Baby, I remember the first day I saw you
You took my breath away with one glance
All I could think when I saw your beautiful eyes
Was how bad I wanted just one chance

We stayed friends through all last year
And you were always there to be my shoulder
I cried to you, and you listened like no other
But these days, you couldn't be any colder

The day I heard you were going back to her
I let it all out and wore my heart on my sleeve
I bawled for you and you didn't care
You were the one to leave

But I'll continue loving you every day
Because I remember the first day I saw those eyes
I fell absolutely head over heels
Now I know you were all wrapped in lies.
