The hill

by Lexi Lou   May 18, 2004

Life is like a hill
sometimes while climbing you lose your will
a week somewhere far away
but if i go away i might stay
i wanna pack up the car
and drive very far
to escape the peeps
the hills too steep
life is like a TV show
and drama is all we know
sometimes i wish I'd leave
and lose the burdens that up i heave
my foot makes imprints in the sand
and when i fall no one catches my hand
the ones who were supposed to be there don't comprehend
they leave me to die without reaching out there hand
they turned there backs so quickly on my troubles
my foots falls beneath me and i tumble
so the only things keeping me up is me
i guess I'm paying the fee
for pushing them all away
but don't let me die alone i pray

~this is talking about the journey though life...all my other poems somehow got deleted so heres me new starts of a new collection~
