Absolutely beautiful. You have chosen the memories of your last Valentine with John as a wonderful dedication to the holiday itself and to his memory. Absolutely breathtaking write as always. Beautiful love story. He loves you eternally and you will know not of the longing and want when reunited. Rejoice in his memory and the rare love you two shared.

This was beautiful, from beginning to end. Every stanza is even more lovlier than the first, but they are all so perfect.
I particularly loved the line "the world was ours tied with a bow".
I know exactly the feeling your reminising right now, because I'm fortunate to be in that situation. You've just brought me back down to earth that these feelings don't last forever, and I know I've gotta make the most of it while it's still here.

This stanza is the one I loved best.
I have a new cd and one of the songs is called "One year of love is better than a lifetime alone"and it's sung by Stevie Ann.
And I feel she is right...to have a true love is so special, even if it ends...

Wow your poems are all great! your choice of words are like magic it really amazes the reader. Once again the flow was flawless, I love first stanza it really grabs the attention of the reader - you even repeated it at the end, excellent job! :)
