FATE

Take it in your stride
Whatever comes your way
Fate comes in colours that never fade away
Colours that not even a single eye
In the world has ever seen
Like a beige mixed with a pink and a simple aqua-marine

Destiny comes in smoke
Masked in something dear
It comes hidden in disguise and takes away your every fear
Holding to your open hand
Then squeezing unexpectedly and long
Like a chiming note echoing at the end of your favorite song

Whisked away in glorious temptation
What a devilish trick he played on you
The god of fate is near to checkmate and your players are very few
On a black stone, one by one
Backed onto a pearly white
In the corner of your marble world, in a fix that's very tight.

There's nothing to do for destiny
He's not a one to be easily swayed
Once he has you wanting more, he already has you made
So take your strides and take them great
Beyond the many times you've played
The final stride is seen by all as your simple colours start to fade.
