Love Starved

Valentines Day finally comes
Girls are getting roses
She watches this with a smile
But her heart is frozen

Brown eyes sparkle happily
But oh so fake
She's learned to perfect this
She has what it takes

Never shows pain
Laughs and smiles
But the sorrow will be cut out
In just a little while

Fiancee called it off
Now they're just dating
But she'll wait for him
Patiently waiting

Valentines Day hurts
It brings so much pain
There's much she has lost
Nothing as been gained

For her there are no roses
Hearts or candy
But she wears a smile
Oh so dandy

She acts like she's okay
Everything's just fine
But nobody knows
She's running out of time

There is one heart
That she cares not only within
She carved it with a razor
She wears it on her skin

Straight over her heart
Another is carved
Crying for affection
She's just love starved
