Though we're miles apart
I still remember clearly
The way my heart beats fast
Whenever you are near me.

That glint in your eye
That freckle on your ear
That way you hold me close
And take away my fear

The way you take my hand in yours
And brush my hair from my face
The tenderness of your touch and
Comfort of your embrace.

Soon I will come back to you
To be together once again
This is just our chapter
Where there falls a little rain.

The taste of your kiss
The warmth of your skin
The beat of your heart
That is hidden within.

That smile on your face
That flick in your hair
Don't worry honey
Soon I'll be there.

But for this little while
Like a pixie or fairy
Your touch and your kiss
Are imaginary.

    Great poem! I love the concept to this poem, it's really deep. The flow was decent and the word choice was good. Overall its a great poem and deserves a 5/5!

    Sweet poem. It's apparent that you really care about whoever this poem is for. I thought the poem itself was pretty good. The flow was decent and the rhymes weren't bad, however nothing really pushed this poem past "sweet."
