This is was my favorite stanza:

"A blanket of snow, falling crisp and cold on my battered soul left me frozen and dazed...
but you melted the ice that has entrapped my heart for so long
Taking a needle and thread you began to repair it with a loving gaze

Oh my goodness, Elaine!! I have said this many times before.. Jake is a VERY lucky guy that he has such an amazing girl that loves him so much! You should be proud of yourself for writing this piece, it captured my heart and I'm sure it has captured many others as well. I'm glad to see how important Jake is to you.. it warms my heart.

This is one of the most amazing love poems ive ever read. I dont like valentines day, but this one truely makes you think of love. By reading this, i can certainly see that he is your everything. Hold on to this love, because it is so hard to find.

I absolute love this poem. the metaphors you use are so powerfull and expressive, especially all together.
