These Fears

I write to you today,
to tell you how I feel,
to tell you how I weep
and to tell you that this is real

I can not begin to explain to you,
that these scars,
they are real
and this pain that I feel

Deep down inside I cry,
I cry all day, I cry all night,
I cut, I cut the pain away,
to make this all right

But it's now, and this is forever
time will never change,
the hurt, the pain, the tears
it can never change these fears.
