I Can't Fight This Feeling

I can't fight these emotions any longer.
This situation just seems
To keep getting worse.
I cannot keep up this front,
Smile this fake smile,
Hide these tears.
I can't fight these
Feelings of pain,
Feelings of anger,
Feelings of resentment,
Feelings of fear.
I pray for forgiveness
But the gods just laugh in my face.
No, I can't fight this anymore.
I just want to give in,
Lay my head down,
And drown in my tears.
