Each Moment Of My Day

How can I begin to tell you
In my day how often I think of you?
Just let me start with \'When you\'re thinking of me...
I\'m always thinking of you too\'.
There is barely sixty seconds
That ever flies on past
Without me thinking that through all my life
God must have saved the best for last.
I climb out of bed each morning
And the first thing that occurs to me
Is Oh! I need to call my baby
So I ring you at work..hi honey!
It may be only a sixty second call
But it jump starts my day
Puts a smile on my happy face
And sends me on my way...
Then when I get to work within the hour
I\'ve heard the Beatles play
I\'m singing along and smiling again
I don\'t care what my coworkers say!
I rush home on my first break
And we spend precious moments again
I can\'t think of a better way
That brief twenty minutes to spend.
That interlude rings in my mind
As the hours pass on by
And then Leavin\' On A Jet Plane plays
And makes me want to cry!
But then someone comes to get me
For you\'ve given me a bell...
\'I don\'t have long, but love you honey!\'
And \'I love you too Mechelle...\'
Pretty soon it\'s time for lunch
But I don\'t need sustanance
I just want to hear your voice again!
Full of love and reassurance.
I\'ve often thought that we talk more in a day
Than many couples who already share their lives
But this far away from one another
I guess we just both want to make sure our love survives.
I have no fear of that my darling
I\'ll never EVER let go of you...
And with that thought I\'m driving home
And running straight onto my yahoo...
For you\'ve left me several messages
Before you\'ve gone to bed
You\'ve taken the time although your\'re tired
Before you laid down your sleepy head.
Sleepy honey for a few hours
And now like each night, here you are
The way we connect in the day
You never feel very far.
Now we\'ll talk for hours again
And I\'ll gaze at your gorgeous face
Just a few short days my love
And we\'ll be wrapped in a loving embrace...
Until then we\'ll share our day
The way we always do...
Laughing and loving one another
Each and every hour through.

I love you baby..xxx

    ohhh honey, feel exactly the same as you, literaly no 60secs pass by in the day without my sweet angel rolling across my mind. if its not something we have talked about the night before its usual some innocuous tenuious link that triggers my honeys image/voice/laugh/smile/tangents/vids and pics (oh boy!)/accent or your unique inflections and accenuations.
    certain words like `perpendicular or guy or even fish and chips ` cause me to break out in a smile. certain love songs hit me like a lead ballon and all of a `freaking` sudden my eyes are watering. you are a whole universe in one person.
    would have been quite happy and content with you if you had just been normal, but the wealth and depth of your devotion staggers me daily, even after 3 and a half months. every nuance, every one of your idiosyncrasys causes my spine to tingle and my heart to flutter like a hyperactive butterfly who has an unhealthy penchant for amphetimines coffee and cola!
    couldnt live without our daily chats and phone calls, couldnt survive without or 23hr!! weekends jus spent talking, laughing, disagreeing, crying, loving.
    this poem is beautiful honey, jus like the aura that surrounds you. to think that your feeling exactly the same as me expands,bolsters, stretches and strengthens my already bulging heart. choking and gagging on our epic romance. to think that in jus over a month we will be embracing inside that chicago airport releases a tidal wave of frenetical overwhelming indescribable emotions.
    dont ever change sweetheart, your my gift from God sent to bless my life and i thank him daily. your my life, my reason for living, my everything. xxx

    lol well you are picking up guys like tim reid with your talent so ya must be good! sorry i havent checked your poems in awhile! now just reading one i am so much happier! i hope when i am older i will be in a relationship as perfect as yours and craigs! and as meant to be (hopefully with chris griffin....lol sorry out there) craig is lucky to have found you and if he is smart (which i know he is becuase you only deserve the smartest) he will hold onto you! invite me to the wedding!

    Excellent rhymes. I love the way you make them fit.
    You are talented indeed. I alway love a love poem. It relaxes me and re-assures me that romance is still alive.
