Love

They say love is beautiful
but also blind
easy to fall
but hard to find

they tell me about its greatness
and the beauty it brings
but they forgot to mention
just how bad it can sting

they say its like a cure
vaccination to every disease
they say its like flying without wings
in the cool summer breeze

but what goes up must come down
and I've witnessed the bumpy landing
it feels like everyone has fallen
and I'm the last one standing
