13 shades of grey

by christopher   Feb 17, 2008

In a valley, covered in fog
lies some crippled me
unable to reach the stars
falling from a burning sky

hidden in the deepest caves
have deserted souls to be
hope has suffered its demands
give me your protection, I fry

reinvent my spirit
into this lifeless body
don't take it to the gallows poe
bury me in your arms
give my existance a name
enlighten my blackened eyes
and add some colours to my
descent grey days

in the darkest forests
the dead-smile claims its misery
this teeth won't bite
into the apple of fortune

nailed onto a burning cross
my mouth screams out
your name,
your name into eternity
