Mankind

by Mariah   Feb 17, 2008

Everyday we sit and watch;
watch the world live around
us, and the seasons change
the sun sets and rises
people die and babies are born
everyone watches as the world
murders itself, we sit as
we are victim to our own crime
earth wide people are blind
and they don't see what is happening.
people live their live
thinking all different things.
if they can change the world
and teenagers get abortions, killing
off the next generation, and
people fear if the world is going to end
as we loose all natural affection
and the presidents promote peace
by telling the lie that killing our
brothers with guns and bombs
with solve all of our problems
but mankind sits destroying itself
not seeing the most beautiful things
in life that god has created for us,
the animals that walk the earth,
the plants that grow, and the
trees which we thrive for, for our
air, the trees we murder as the earth
becomes bare and naked.
But the one thing man has
forgotten all about is the love
we can share for people, the love
that produces babies, and the love
that keeps a daughter from running away
the love that our friends share as
we can in their shoulders, and the
love that god gave us that we have
forgotten all about.
Mankind has forgotten and some
are just waiting for us to take a
step back and remember where
we used to be.
