Forever

by Shannon   Feb 17, 2008

Her wings, I see them.
Her fiery eyes stare at me.
Her face is so white, I don't understand.
She comes to me often, I don't like her.
She carries a knife and she's covered in blood.
She looks familiar, do I know her?
I ask her, she nods.
She sits on my bed and looks to the sky.
She floats, I scream.
I know who she is, it's my fault she's gone.
Her hair is blond and her hands are soft.
I have met her before, and I'm sorry.
I'M SORRY,I shout at her, she does not care.
She gets closer, and backs me into a corner...

I sit there with the girl as she knocks on the door.
It opens, she screams and collapsed.
She's staring at me, I stare too.
I'm covered in blood.
I take the girl's hand and close my eyes.
Off I go...forever.
