Dream Boy

by Shannon   Feb 17, 2008

He comes to me
When I'm asleep.
I do not fear him.
I do not weep.

Recent things
just float away
This dream
can last for days.

He kisses me
and holds me close
He is so real
he's not a ghost.

He lays me down
upon his chest
The days been hard
I need a rest.

But he is here
and thats all that matters
but this life
Is full of batters

But when I'm here
I'm all yours
It's all I've dreamt of
my heart sours.

When I fall asleep
In his arms
He picks me up
he has such charms.

I feel him give
a kiss goodnight
He stays with me
always in sight.

But then it happens
And I wake up
No more taking
from dreams grace cup.

I drag myself up,
I stand on a toy
Nothing is left
Of my dream boy.
