No fairytale after all

I thought that he loved me, but i guess i was wrong.i thought we were going to have the perfect fairytale life.he said he'd always love me, that he would never leave.I thought we'd always be together,that we were going to go far, until that night
The phone rang at the usual time for our late night talks. I could tell something was wrong by the way he said my name. "I met someone new" is what he said.he said we could still be friends,but we both knew it wouldn't be the same.When he said it was over, my heart hit the floor,and my eyes filled with tears.I was speechless, i didn't know what to say. As i sit here and think about it,I realize that he didn't care, that it wasn't my fairytale after all.
