The fibers of my heart

by StandStill   Feb 17, 2008

Every fiber
every string
every single
little thing
in my heart
from the start
belonged to you
nothing else i can do
and now they're ripping
and on my own feet i am tripping
with this searing pain
i have everything to lose, and nothing to gain
shattering
glass
blood
smattering
my fear,
my dear
is that it will tear
beyond repair
and there's nothing you can do
because you don't even know

Kaila, this is art. There is no right or wrong way to write a poem. How can it possibly show emotion if you agonize about rhyming ever other line? This poem is beautiful, and it comes straight from the heart.

Okay 1st off the poem had nostructure really at all. Some advice: make sure in each line there is sort of the same syllabol count. 2nd. it didn't have to much emotion really try to work on that
overall it was an okay poem
