Starting Again

by Marc Ruby   Feb 18, 2008

The clock started again
Tme no longer stands still
We are no longer together
Wounds only time can heal

A year has passed
Seen your face now and then
And you let me know, never again
Held back now for quite while
Waiting and waiting for you
No more cramping my style

True A modest style at best
Still when I walk I glow
And when I rhyme I flow
Defeated heartache for good
A truely powerful foe

So I shall stand up tall
Now the shots are mine to call
Every man takes a fall
Just venture out and realize
There's a light up ahead
If I keep my eyes to the Prize

Time is on my side
For I control its pace
Never again no matter what
Will a smile leave this face
