I remember yesterday. With you.
It was a good day, because you smiled for me.
You moved into my arms, and held me tight.
We moved together, in a slow dance.

I remember another yesterday.
We walked in the rain, hand in hand.
No need to hurry anywhere, for anyone else.
We had each other, wet hair and all.

And another yesterday with you.
You woke me in the morn, with a kiss.
You whispered in my ear, and I smiled.
You made love to me again.

There's that other yesterday, when you cried.
I held you for the longest time.
I kissed your cheek, held your hands.
Until all the hurt went away.

Yesterday, you said you loved me.
Yesterday, you loved me all day long.
I remember you said it would be forever.
You kissed my lips, and my eyes.

And then yesterday, you smiled again.
You came back to me, into my arms.
And then you let go, slowly.
And you walked away.

Yesterday, I thought about you.
I thought about the touch of you hand.
I thought about everything.
Yesterday...was so long ago.
