I'd Say

NOTE : this is a reply i wrote for a friend to her ex bf's letter about love and marriage to her who then cheated on her after they were engaged for a year his letter was "what would you say" so my reply is "Id say"

I'd say that you shouldn't make statements,
You cannot back up with facts,
I'd say that words means nothing,
Unless it follows with acts.

I'd say that mud has fogged the future,
That nothing is clear anymore,
I'd say my smiles for you are dead,
And your excuses are beginning to bore.

I'd say don't ever touch me,
I'd say you'd done enough,
I'd say I hope it was worth it,
And that you feel real tough.

I'd say I'm used to life without you,
And that it's actually not that bad,
I'd say I've stopped crying,
And now I'm only mad.

I'd say that I was right
I'd say there was never a point
To try to make a future,
If we could never have been joint.

I'd say a lot of words,
I'm just trying to figure out how,
So when you finally pull your head out,
Look where we are now.
