I can see you
but you can't see me
because I'm just a ghost to you

i keep hoping you'll notice
but all hope is gone now
because i want to talk to you
but i simply don't know how

because when i see you
I'm unable to speak
time keeps passing me by
day by day week by week

i have to take a chance
