The Stranger

Hey there Stranger.
Who do you see?
Each time you look in the mirror?

When you lose someone, something,
That meant so dear to you.
How do you get back on track?

You don't.

When you lose that someone, something,
It leaves a hole in you.
You don't just cover it up,
You don't just fill it up.

Hey there Stranger.
You look familiar.
Do I know you?

You become someone else without realizing it,
You become someone else you never thought you would,
You become someone else u never knew.

To fill up the hole,
You create a different thinking in you.

To cover up the hole,
You create a different personality.

To hide the hole,
You lead a life of lies.

Hey there Stranger.
Why don't I know you?
When you are me and I am you?

You lose yourself when you choose to lead a life of lies.
You forget who you are when you let all that happened pass you by.

You look in the mirror,
And all you can see,
Is someone you don't recognize.
It's never You, Yourself nor I.
